 Dredging of Don’s Marina, King Ferry, NY to remove Hydrilla tubers

  1. Project Description

During the drawdown period for Cayuga Lake which usually ends in mid-March, an excavator (defined herein as the “Contractor”) will dredge the content of Don’s Marina in King Ferry, NY to remove sediment and material that contains Hydrilla plants and tubers. The contractor will dispose of material in an agreed-upon location that will pose a low risk of sediment reintroduction into the watershed. The contractor will take necessary precautions to remove all debris, sediment, or material from excavating equipment after completion of work and will submit documentation of sanitation practices.

Start February 28, 2019 End April 1, 2019
