• Coordinates monitoring efforts and adaptive management strategies to understand and mitigate the effects of aquatic invasive species (AIS) across 17 counties within the Finger Lakes region as the Aquatic Invasive Species Program Manager for the Finger Lakes Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management.
• Establishes and maintains partnerships with local and statewide organizations to accomplish shared goals through collaborative AIS management activities and outreach in targeted areas.
• Catherine’s background includes AIS fieldwork in other parts of New York State and performing ecological research in graduate school, studying ant seed dispersal response to land-use change.
