Volunteers Community Partners

Individual Registration

Our community of volunteers is the lifeblood of invasive species management. From hand-pulling garlic mustard to helping remove water chestnut from our delicate waterbodies, volunteers make the difference.

Join our community to help the environment through:

  • Providing information at tabling events within the Finger Lakes
  • Mechanically harvesting invasives such as water chestnut and common reed
  • Surveying for invasives in your own backyard.

There are 3 ways to get involved and you can do any or all 3:

  • Register for our mailing list and then participate in events you see there
  • Find an event in our event calendar and join in
  • Find one of our partners in your area and join them. Click on your county in the table below to see a list of local partners.
