Josh Neff

Josh Neff joined the Finger Lakes Institute in May of 2019 as a watercraft steward program coordinator. After his time with the stewards, Josh undertook the role of field coordinator for the Finger Lakes Institute’s Hydrilla team in September of 2019. Josh has continued in that role for two field seasons, serving as a point of contact between the field crew and project manager. The Hydrilla team surveys for Hydrilla and other high priority aquatic invasive species in The Finger Lakes region and Lake Ontario embayment’s.

Josh graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Ecology with a concentration in aquatic ecology. Prior to joining the Finger Lakes Institute, Josh had two years of experience as a watercraft steward on Honeoye Lake.
