• Develops and implements strategies to prevent, detect, control, and manage invasive species that threaten terrestrial ecosystems throughout the Finger Lakes Region.
• Conducts risk assessments to prioritize ecosystems to manage and protect.
• Coordinates with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and landowners to promote awareness and standardize best practices.
• Oversees field surveys, data collection, monitoring efforts, and treatment operations for terrestrial invasive species.
• Supports education and outreach efforts throughout the Finger Lakes Region to promote awareness and encourage collaborative invasive species management.
