Morgan Crouch

Morgan Crouch is a Watercraft Steward Coordinator in May 2021 for the Finger Lakes Institute’s Watercraft Steward Program (WSP). Morgan assists with day to day aspects of running the WSP. She supervises and supports the watercraft stewards, conducts site visits, brings them supplies, time management and analysis, and prepares for biweekly meetings. In the off-season, Morgan prepares for the next steward season, writing reports for partners, and continuing work on a number of AIS-related projects.

Morgan graduated magna cum laude from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, in Syracuse, NY in 2020 with a B.S. in Conservation Biology and a minor in Forestry. Throughout college, she gained useful management experience where she managed 100+ student workers at a dining hall on the Syracuse University Campus. She also has previous experience in the field including plant research, ecosystem restoration, and invasive species surveys. She grew up in Central NY with woods behind the house and has always had a passion for ecology, conservation, invasive species, and plants.
