Request for Bids- Aquatic Herbicide Treatment of Water Chestnut in the Finger Lakes PRISM Region

The Finger Lakes Institute at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and the Finger Lakes Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management (Finger Lakes PRISM) is requesting bids for the chemical control of water chestnut at two sites: in Red Creek, located in Wolcott, NY (approx. 7 acres) and Seneca River/Barge Canal adjacent to Howland Island Wildlife Management Area, Conquest, NY (approx. 45 acres).

Treatment should be completed using an approved aquatic herbicide, specifically Weedar 64 or equivalent herbicide with 2,4-D as the active ingredient, prior to seed maturation.

The application deadline is: June 22, 2018 at 5:00 pm ET.
